Birthday Book Club
Celebrate your child’s birthday AND support the Cherry Valley Library!
Participating in the Birthday Book Program is a great way to create a lasting memory for your family at Cherry Valley and endow our library with exciting new books.
Here’s how it works:
- Donate $$ to the birthday book program following the instructions below. The Birthday Book Program donation is $18.00 per child or event.
- During the month of your child’s birthday (or in May for summer birthdays), your child will choose a new book from a fun assortment selected by our school librarian.
- A bookplate dedicating the book in your child’s honor will be placed inside. The book is then presented to the student during library time so that he or she can be first to read it before it is returned to the library collection for all to enjoy.
Birthday book donations will be accepted throughout the year, and can also be used for graduation, memorials, teacher’s gifts, and other celebrations. Birthday book donations are matched by many companies. Please give us 3 week notice in advance of your child's birthday if you would like to participate.
