Cheetah Walk
Cheetah Walk is the PTA’s annual fundraiser. Students collect pledges based on how many laps they can walk/run around the track behind the school. All proceeds for 2007-2008 Cheetah Walk will go towards classroom enrichment grants, allowing teachers to purchase additional items for their classrooms.
To date, the Cheetah Walk has brought in over $12,000. Cheetah Walk 2006-2007 funded the playground equipment which will be purchased soon….It is just waiting for approval from the District.
Did you know that many companies in the area (including Microsoft and Boeing) will match your donations to the school? If your employer is one of them, please take the time to go on-line to the Company’s website and have your funds matched. Just be sure to check Cherry Valley PTA and it will go directly towards the Cheetah Walk. For example, if you donated $30 to Cherry Valley for the Cheetah Walk, in less than 10 minutes of your time, your employer will also donate $30 to Cherry Valley. That makes $60 toward helping out our school!!! Very Easy!!
