Will your company match the funds
you donated at the PTA Auction?
Thank you to all of you who attended our PTA Auction, “Spring” for Education! Though we are still adding up the final costs, we believe we made about $45,000!!! Thank you so much for your generosity!
Though that figure is extremely impressive, we would like to remind you that many companies will match the donations made at the auction. Any amount given during the “Raise the Paddle” portion of the evening is completely tax deductible, and therefore eligible for 100% matching with many companies. For the items purchased during the live and silent auctions, the amount that is eligible to be matched is the donated amount AFTER the fair market value has been subtracted. The fair market value for each item is noted on your receipt you received that evening.
Please note if you are a Microsoft employee: Please select Cherry Valley PTA as the charity to which you donated. Checking the box that says “Cherry Valley Elementary” will NOT make the funds available to PTA.
