Cherry Valley teacher, Mrs. Latta, will help students create paper boxes, gift bags, gift tags, frames, and more. The art of paper design and embellishments will be emphasized. All materials provided.

Drawing

Cost: $40, Grades K-5

Cherry Valley 2nd grade teacher, Mr. Hammer, will teach the basics of drawing animals using pencils and pastels. A simple art kit will be included.
 

Hip-Hop Dance

TJ Dance and CHS students Haley and Katie are back for a second session of hip-hop! Students will learn a fun hip-hop routine and the basics of choreography and performance. Students should wear comfortable clothes and supportive shoes.

Scrapbooking

Mother's Day and Father's Day Scrapbooking Projects! On the last day of class, the albums will be sealed in envelopes, ready to be delivered on Mother's Day and Father's Day! Scrappers need to bring a photosafe journaling pen and photosafe adhesive; scissors or trimmers are welcome if wanted. Scrappers also need to bring at least 5 pictures of mom, 5 pictures of dad, 4 pictures of themselves alone, 3 pictures of themselves with mom, and 3 pictures of themselves with dad. Pictures should be no larger than 4x6. Also available for purchase if needed: a basic materials kit ($19) with a photosafe pen, tape runner, scissors, and carrying case; and an advanced materials kit ($35) with a set of four colorful pens, photo labeling pencil, corner rounder, and a StoryBox set of journaling boxes and photo mats.
